CNC Machine Tool Builder Okuma America Corporation Announces New Member of Partners in THINC
Charlotte, NC (September 11, 2012) – Okuma America Corporation, a world leader in CNC machine tools, is pleased to announce that Velocity/SU-matic, a leading provider of tooling technology, has joined Partners in THINC.
Velocity/SU-matic distributes driven and static tooling for Okuma lathes that have M-turret functionality. These tools allow Okuma lathes to perform milling, drilling, turning, boring and gear cutting operations that reduce, and in many circumstances eliminate, the need to move the parts to other machine types for these processes. Velocity/SU-matic also makes special application tooling for these lathes which further reduces the total machining time required to make parts.

Velocity Products Introduces Leading European Supplier of Okuma Lathe Tooling to North America
Chicago, IL (September 11, 2012) Morris Group, Inc. today announced at IMTS that it has entered into an exclusive business agreement with SU-matic, a subsidiary of Suhner Holding AG of Switzerland, to supply Okuma lathe, multitasking machine, and machining center tooling to the North American metalworking industry.

Velocity Products Announces New Line of Ultra-Bright LED Lights
(Windsor, CT) - Velocity Products, www.velocityproducts.com, announced today that it would begin selling a line of ultra-bright LED lights intended for the shop floor. The new lights utilize standard 110V power and are available in three basic configurations: ROMA, for a wide range of uses including machine enclosures; Velocity Stack lights; and V Flex Inspection lights.
